The Owasco Lake - OWN IT ! conference examined the current
condition and ways to improve water quality in Owasco lake on Saturday. The
conference was held at the Bisgrove Theater at Cayuga Community College. Two of the speakers were Professer
John Halfman of Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY and Todd
Walter of Cornell university.
The event was sponsored by the Owasco Watershed Lake
Association (OWLA), the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology
(IAGT) and
Cayuga Community College (CCC).
